Economy and Efficiency - Organization and Responsibilities of the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services

Synopsis:

Authorizing the Secretary of the Public Safety and Correctional Services to transfer, assign, or reassign any function, activity, or staff of any unit in the Department to increase efficiency and economy; limiting the authority of the Secretary to transfer or reassign specified employees to a new work site; requiring the Department to adopt regulations to implement the Act; exempting specified agencies from the application of the Act; etc.
