Synopsis:

Removing any statutory or common law immunity from or categorical defense, including assumption of risk and contributory negligence, to a specified cause of action arising from the promotion, manufacture, marketing, sale, or consumption of or exposure to tobacco products; providing for the application of the Act; and making the provisions of the Act severable.
