Synopsis
Altering the aggregate amount of film production activity tax credit certificates that the Secretary of Commerce may issue in each of fiscal years 2024 through 2026 to $15,000,000 and for fiscal year 2027 and each fiscal year thereafter to $12,000,000; establishing the Maryland Entertainment Council to study and make recommendations regarding Maryland's film, television, and entertainment industry; and requiring the Council to submit a final report to the Governor and the General Assembly by September 1, 2024.
