Synopsis
Requiring certain individuals to submit to a criminal history records check before the individual is authorized to have a position involving direct contact with children in a licensed child care center, registered family child care home, or registered large family child care home, subject to the availability of existing resources; requiring the State Department of Education to establish a dedicated unit to process certain criminal history records checks, subject to the availability of existing resources; etc.
