Synopsis
Establishing the Commission to Study African American Civil War Soldiers in Maryland to study the history of the African American soldiers who fought for the Union Army in Maryland and to make findings and recommendations regarding the funding, design, construction, and location of an appropriate memorial dedicated to the African American Civil War soldiers; and requiring the Commission to report its findings and recommendations to the Governor and the General Assembly on or before December 1, 2024.
