Synopsis
Authorizing the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore City to establish certain requirements and take certain actions with regard to the location of and use of a property as a small box discount store; defining "small box discount store" as a retail store with a floor area between 5,000 and 12,000 square feet that offers for sale a combination and variety of goods and a majority of the items at a price of $5 or less; and requiring the Mayor and City Council to conduct a comprehensive small box discount store diversity study.
