Prince George's County - Employment - Annual Leave for Parents and
Legal Guardians of Students

Requiring an employer to provide 8 hours of annual leave to an
employee who is a parent or legal guardian of a child who attends a
school in the Prince George's County public school system to allow the
parent to participate in the activities of the school and in meetings
with the teachers and administrators of the school; specifying that
annual leave provided under the Act shall be in addition to the amount
of annual leave otherwise granted to an employee; and defining the
term "employer".
