Synopsis:

Requiring the State Department of Education to adopt procedures for the selection and purchase of graphing calculators; requiring the Department to distribute calculators to each county and Baltimore City based on the number of students currently enrolled in Algebra I; requiring the Governor to include $2,113,300 in the State budget for fiscal year 2002 for the Department for the purchase of the calculators; etc.
