Providing that the 5-year restriction on benefits paid on transferred
service credit does not apply to an individual who transfers into a
State retirement or pension system and receives a disability
retirement from that system within 5 years after transferring into
that system; and providing that the Act applies to any individual who
received a disability allowance on or after June 1, 2002.
