Entitled:
Criminal Procedure - Child Sexual Offenders - Elimination of Diminution Credits and Parole Eligibility

Synopsis:

Prohibiting the earning of diminution credits to reduce the term of confinement of an inmate who is serving a sentence for a sexual offense against a minor; eliminating parole eligibility for sexual offenders who are serving terms of confinement for specified offenses against minors committed on or after a specified date; and providing that the Act does not restrict the authority of the Governor to pardon or remit a specified sentence.
