Synopsis
Altering the amount and uses of annual funding relating to school safety to include the development of services to resolve student disputes through mediation and repealing the requirement that a certain appropriation be used for a certain purpose; requiring the Governor to include in the annual budget bill an appropriation of $20,000,000 to the Safe Schools Fund to provide grants to local school systems to enhance school safety; requiring the Department of Education to analyze and report on state and local policies; etc.
