University System of Maryland - Unclassified Employees - Notification to Workers' Compensation Insurance Carrier of Termination of Sick Leave Payments

Synopsis:

Prohibiting the University System of Maryland from terminating the sick leave payments made by the University to unclassified employees who have been injured in work-related accidents unless, prior to termination, the University provides notice to the University's workers' compensation insurance carrier that the unclassified employee has exhausted all available sick leave and instructs the University's workers' compensation insurance carrier to begin making payments to the unclassified employee.
