Synopsis
Requiring the Maryland Department of Health to adopt a certain reporting system, analyze patterns of prescribing medications in the State, conduct outreach, and identify certain barriers related to prescribing medications to treat an opioid use disorder; requiring the Department to submit a report of its findings to the Governor and the General Assembly by October 1, 2023, and each October 1 thereafter; and requiring the Department to submit a certain analysis to the Governor and the General Assembly by October 1, 2022.
